Keep in mind when you are cutting down your panels as you may need to reapply the slats with a staplegun or adhesive
If installing the panels behind a TV, ensure the TV is bracket is mounted on the wall (you do not want the weight of the bracket and the TV on the panels
When placing your first panel on the wall (Wood timber slat left edge side not the felt overhang side), ensure the second panel overlaps the tongue of the first panel to avoid visible joints
Relocate power points and light switches if needed

Use an adhesive and screw/s into the very first panel as this will set the straight edge for the job
If installing the panels on a ceiling, ensure you use both adhesive and screws to secure onto the ceiling. It is also advised to use battens if you can't screw into the structure frame or joists.
Ensure you have drilled out where the power/lights/wires need to be placed.
